FPP Hydraulics manufactures the complete low pressure fluid power product line. The same fluid motor/pumps and accessories have been used in the gas industry for aerial cooler fan drives the last 60 years.
First manufactured in 1950 by Rockwell Manufacturing Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and later in Statesboro, Georgia. In 1972 the Statesboro Plant was sold to Brooks Instrument Division of Emerson Electric. In 1980 Brooks Instrument Division sold the hydraulic product line to the Fluid Power Products Division of ASI and manufacturing was moved to Kenner (New Orleans), Louisiana. In 1990 manufacturing was moved to Tickfaw (Hammond), Louisiana. In 1998 Fluid Power Products was sold to Tuthill Transfer Systems, the hydraulic product line was manufactured under the FPP Hydraulics brand name. In 2009 Tuthill sold the hydraulic product line to FPP Hydraulics LLC located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
